Energy Sprawl

Paper from The Nature Conservancy looks at climate policy and the loss of habitat.
Nuclear, Coal, and Geothermal take the least space per unit power and biofuels and biomass take the most.
They write: "Total new area affected by energy production techniques by 2030 exceeds 206,000 km2 in all scenarios (Fig. 1B), an area larger than the state of Nebraska."
